OUR FIRM HISTORY:

The firm of ROSS RIGBY & PATTEN LLP was started in December, 1945 by Saul Silverstein, CPA, a sole practitioner. Gerald J. Loftus, CPA, was admitted as a partner on July 1, 1970. The partnership name, which initially was Saul Silverstein and Co., was changed on July 1, l975 to Silverstein and Loftus, CPAs. On July 1, l982, the partnership incorporated as Silverstein & Loftus, P.C. On November 1, 1986, Thomas J. Ross, CPA was admitted as a shareholder in the firm. On January 1, 1987 the name of the firm was changed to Silverstein, Loftus + Ross, CPAs, P.C. On June 30, 1988, Saul Silverstein, CPA, retired from the practice. On September 19, 1996 our name was changed to Loftus, Ross & Co., CPAs, P.C. On January 1, 2003 the firm name was changed to Loftus Ross LLP. With the admission of Leo Rigby and Heather Patten as partners to the firm on October 1, 2009 the firm name was changed to ROSS RIGBY & PATTEN LLP.

We are proud of our firm, our employees, and our growth and acceptance by the business community. We are pleased at the acknowledgment accorded to the integrity and quality of our performance received from our clients, the banking community, attorneys and government agency representatives.
